Error description

  • When running the dataload utility in delete mode for commerce
    composer data, some records are not deleted. For example, the
    SEOPAGEDEFDESC records are not deleted.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
    WC 7.0 FEP 8 users who running the data load to delete some
    commerce composer data.
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    When the Dataload utility is executed in delete mode for
    Commerce Composer, not all data is deleted.
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    Not all the commerce Composer data that should be deleted by
    Dataload are deleted in the database.
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • The dataload utility contained a logic error that incorrectly
    interpreted the deletion of records in some Page Composer tables
     as being updates.
    
    The code is updated to correct this error.
