Error description

  • When AuthenticationMode is set to DB and you remove <Directory
EntryFileName="ldap/ldapentry.xml" MigrateUsersFromWCSdb="ON"
SingleSignOn="0" display="false"/> from wc-server.xml, the
application still references the EntryFileName from the instance
 xml file.  This causes an error when EntryFileName has been
removed from the instance xml file.

Example of error:
com.ibm.commerce.member.helpers.LDAPEntryOrganizer
resolveMapFilePath Relative path to LDAP Entry File: null

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
Log on fails with "LDAP Entry File: null" error when
AuthenticationMode is set to DB

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Users are unable to authenticate. For example, administrators
cannot log on to the Administration Console.
