Error description

  • When an exception is thrown during the promotion engine
    execution, the type of exception is written to the trace log,
    but the details of the exception are lost.  For example, the
    full stack trace for the call will not be written to the log.

Problem conclusion

  • Changed the existing trace in the promotion engine to properly
    handle exceptions by passing the exception into the logger
    instead of only logging the exception type.
