JR52605: Preview of file fails for file name containing special characters when the file is only in the database, not the EAR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Preview of managed file fails when file name contains special
  characters and when the file is stored only in the database but
  not yet promoted to the Commerce EAR. For example, a file name
  with the + symbol in it, a+b.jpg, cannot be previewed
  immediately until that file is promoted to the EAR.
  

Local fix

• There are 2 possible workarounds. 1) Use a different filename
  with regular characters or 2) wait for one hour.  When the file
  gets promoted to the Commerce EAR, preview of that file will be
  successful.
  

Problem summary

  Business users using the Commerce Management Center Asset UI.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Preview of file fails for file name containing special
  characters (e.g. +) when the file is only in the database, not
  the EAR.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Business users cannot preview files with special characters in
  the file name.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed the way the filepath is obtained from the request to
  resolve the encoding issue.
