JR52486: Default search profile customization on WC server based productview REST services does not work in -ext directories

Error description

• In FEP8, search profile customization of
  wc-rest-resrouceconfig.xml in com.ibm.commerce.rest-ext folder
  was not used. Developers might have to put customized search
  profiles directly into the file found in com.ibm.commerce.rest
  folder to get it to work.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  All users who customize their default search profile for REST
  services in FEP8.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Default search profile customization on WC server based
  productview REST services does not work in -ext directories.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  The default search profile customization for REST services was
  not possible in FEP8.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Solution was to apply this APAR and to create a new attribute
  namely, "defaultSearchProfile", inside the customized
  wc-rest-resourceconfig.xml created in
  REST.war/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.rest-ext folder. This
  allows the runtime to pick up the first customized search
  profile as the default search profile for the REST services.
  This is important to WebSphere Commerce server BOD based REST
  services because profile name cannot be used to override the
  default search profile.
