APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When transports threads are updated from configuration manager
    then instance.xml/ wc-server.xml overwrites the existing entries
     in Instance.xml/wc-server.xml. The root cause of missing JNDI
    name is that configuration manager panel leaves JNDI name as
    blank
    

Local fix

  • Either update the instance.xml manually or update the JNDI name
    manually in GUI Configuration Manager

    Users who tries to increase the threads for
    inboundListener for MQ for enabled transport
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    Missing JNDI Name in GUI Config Client on Transports Inbound and
    Outbound Page

    Change in threads "Parallel
    Inbound listener" may unable to listen and corresponding process
    are not honoured
    

Problem conclusion

  • Change the logic not to overwrite the JNDI name to empty when
    saving the changes
