Error description

  • When configuring query generation to form a single query by
injecting the XPath to SQL statement into the association SQL
statement as a sub-select, the generated query contains an
invalid comment. This issue occurs when tracing for the
    com.ibm.commerce.foundation component is enabled.

Local fix

  • To resolve this issue, use one of the following workarounds:

     1) Set the 'usePrimaryKeyValues' flag to 'true'.
     2) Disable tracing for the com.ibm.commerce.foundation
    component.
     3) Set the value of the DSLQueryNameTracing property to 'false'
    in the foundation wc-component.xml file.

Problem conclusion

  • Use a different SQL comment syntax on DB2 and Oracle. On Derby,

DSLQueryNameTracing property to 'false' when the
'usePrimaryKeyValues' flag is set to 'false'.
