Error description

• When you run the Task API > Task Query Entity List count in the
  REST API user interface (UI) testing tool , an incorrect result
  returns because the testing tool incorrectly invokes the entity
  list count REST API with the filter  parameter.

Local fix

• Copy the URL for the entity list count REST API and change the
  "filter" parameter to "queryFilter",  and then paste the URL
  into a browser. For example, change
  http://localhost:9080/rest/bpm/wle/v1/tasks/query/inboxTask/coun
  t?filter=NAME='S' to
  http://localhost:9080/rest/bpm/wle/v1/tasks/query/inboxTask/coun
  t?queryFilter=NAME='S'.
  

Problem summary

• The IBM BPM REST test tool  incorrectly use the "filter"
  parameter  instead of  the "queryfilter" parameter in the Task
  API > Task Query Entity List count REST API, which produces an
  incorrect result.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1, V7.5.1.2, and V7.5.1.1
   that changes the REST API parameter name from "filter" to
  "queryfilter".
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR50246:
  
  1.Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the
  product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level,
  and your platform, and then click Continue.
  
  2.Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50246, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
