Error description

  • With the "automatic flow to next task" feature disabled,
    Process Portal is flowing to a task that was started
    previously. In Process Portal, if you launch a process but
    don't complete the task and then click on "Work" list and then
    start another task. After completing the second started task,
    Process Portal does not navigate to the work list as expected
    but is taken to the previously started task.

  • Process Portal is not correctly keeping track of user navigation
     history.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 is available that fixes the logic
    that determines the navigation location after completion of a
    task.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR50244:
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50244, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
