APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After ordering attribute values by name in Management Center for
  an attribute, you can not create a new attribute value.
  
   1. In the Management Center Catalog tool select a catalog
   2. Open an attribute
   3. Order the attribute values by the value column  once
   4. Click to create a new attribute value button to create value
   5. The new value box but does not show
   6. If you click the sequence column, thew new value field shows
   7. Close the attribute without saving
   8. Re-open the attribute
   9. Try to add a new value does not work; changing the sequence
  does not force the option to add a new value.
  

Local fix

• Once this issue occurs, you will need to log out of Management
  Center and close your browser. After that you log in again and
  create new attribute values.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
   Websphere Commerce V7 users that follow the steps listed in the
  Problem Description section.
  
   PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
   After ordering attribute values in Management Center for an
  attribute, you can not create a new attribute value.
  
   BUSINESS IMPACT:
   Once this issue occurs, you will need to log out of Management
  Center and close your browser before you can create new
  attribute values
