Error description

• If you create an e-mail template and include a Link to display a
  category, and you create a dialog activity that uses the
  Customer Searches trigger --> Send Message (e-mail) - select
  "Send immediately"), the category is not included in the e-mail
  sent to the shopper.

  A marketing e-mail template includes a link to display a
  category. The e-mail sent to the customer displays "null" for
  the category link and the category image is not displayed.
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Unable to display category information in marketing e-mails.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• All the marketing trigger parameters are passed into the e-mail
  template generation. When the marketing trigger parameters
  contain the same parameter as the <e-mail:Link> tag parameters,
  the value from the marketing trigger parameter was overwriting
  the value from the <e-mail:Link> tag.
  
  This was discovered in the Aurora starter store. The trigger
  used to send the e-mail was the Customer Searches trigger. The
  SearchDisplay page has an optional parameter categoryId. If the
  shopper searches for a keyword (for example "dress"), and the
  search is not scoped to a category, the SearchDisplay includes a
  categoryId parameter which is null. When the e-mail includes a
  <e-mail:Link> tag for a category, it has a categoryId parameter
  with the ID of the selected category. In this situation, the
  e-mail code gets the null value for categoryId and cannot
  display the selected category.
  
  The code was changed so that the <e-mail:Link> tag parameters
  take precedence over the marketing trigger parameters.
