Error description

  • When using the Dataload utility to load a calculation code into
e-site store for an catalog entry inherited from the catalog
asset store, the catalog ID cannot be resolved.  An error
similar to the following will be seen in the logs:

Problem summary


    

  • USERS AFFECTED:
Business users loading calculation codes to inherited catalog
entries.

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
Unable to use the dataload utility to load a calculation code
into e-site store for a catalog entry inherited from the asset
store.

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Loading calculation codes to inherited catalog entries in an
e-site store cannot be performed.

RECOMMENDATION:

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code is fixed to properly consider the store path when
resolving the catalog entry ID if it cannot be resolved locally
in the e-site store.  If the catalog entry ID is not found in
the e-site store, the asset store will be checked.
