Problem conclusion

  • Two new logical data caches are introduced. The
    com.ibm.commerce.fulfillment.beansrc.CalculationUsageCache
logical data cache caches data from the CALUSAGE table in the
    WCPromotionDistributedMapCache object cache, and the
    com.ibm.commerce.productset.commands.util.ProductSetEntitlementH
elper logical data cache caches product set entitlement
information for a particular user in the
    WCUserDistributedMapCache object cache.

WebSphere Commerce administration and shopping flow code is
changed to take advantage of these new logical data caches, as
well as to take better advantage of the existing
    com.ibm.commerce.fulfillment.objsrc.ShippingModeCache and
    com.ibm.commerce.order.objsrc.OfferCache logical data caches to
avoid frequent queries to the SHIPMODE and OFFER tables.

New database triggers for the CALUSAGE table are provided in the
    schema/<database type>/wcs.cacheivl.trigger.sql database script
file. The database triggers in the wcs.cacheivl.trigger.sql
file should be defined on a production database to allow proper
data cache invalidation by the DynaCacheInvalidation scheduler
job during propagation of staged database changes to a
production database. They can be removed by executing the
    schema/<database type>/wcs.cacheivl.drop.trigger.sql database
    script file.
