Error description

  • The document list coach shows inconsistent behaviour between IE
and firefox on handling invalid search result. In case an ECM
search service returns a bad query result to the document list
coach view, the problem is handled gracefully by the list
control in Firefox. However, the list  control throws an error
in IE.

In case an ECM search service returns a bad query result to the
document list coach view, the problem is handled gracefully by
the list control in Firefox. However, the list control throws
an error in IE.

Problem conclusion

  • The documentList java script logic was improved to fix the
issue in IE.

downloaded together with the iFix flie from Fix Central.
