APAR status

Error description

• When viewing a parent category which has subcategories with
  products in them,  the products are not displayed according to
  the individual product sequence but rather the products of the
  first category show up first since the category itself is
  ordered first. In other words, sequencing doesn't work with deep
   search.

  Users who want to control the display sequence of products when
  deep search is enabled.

  Allow sequencing to work for categories higher up in the catalog
  hierarchy (not only for leaf categories).
  
  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Users are unable to see the individual product sequence when
  viewing categories higher up in the catalog hierarchy.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• The catalog runtime was enhanced to respect the sequence of the
  product during deep search. When a product is found in multiple
  categories, the lowest sequence determines the position of the
  products.
