Error description

    Description:

Customer is using text input widget, customer disable the edit

function for the text, if the input text is larger than
the input frame, the scroll bar will show and can drag the
    scroll bar to
show the text, this function is work well in lombardi v7.2 ,now
    in bpm
7.5, customer found the scroll bar is disabled, only a part of
    text
    can be seen.

Local fix

  • One workaround in IE is to use the mouse to scroll the content
of the text input widget by pressing the left key of the mouse
while inside the widget, holding it, and dragging the mouse
down. This will scroll through the text just like it would if
    the scrollbar were working.

This problem occurred because read-only heritage coach text-
areas "looked" editable, but of course, were not. The goal was
to make them "look" read-only in 7.5. This issue was resolved
by making the text-area "disabled" when read-only. This made
the text-area grayed-out. In IE, the disabled text-area does not
have a scrollbar, which means that you can not scroll through
    the content of a read-only text-area.

Problem conclusion

  • This issue was resolved by removing the "disabled" attribute and
instead just graying-out the read-only text-area through the
    color attributes of the text-area.
