Error description
When utilizing the Parallel MQ Listener with multiple threads configured for inbound message processing, you may experience a stop or an intermittent delay in message response time if there is a large volume of messages to be processed.
Local fix
Using the Configuration Manager (or the wc-server.xml), configure the InboundParallelConnector with fewer threads or temporarily use to the InboundSerialConnector instead.
Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Commerce users on v7.0 with or without APAR JR40802 installed. APAR JR42568 supersedes JR40802. PROBLEM ABSTRACT: Prevent a stop or intermittent delay situation from occurring when processing inbound MQ messages using the Parallel MQ Listener for WebSphere Commerce. BUSINESS IMPACT: Potentially high; intermittent outages may occur within the Parallel MQ Listener. RECOMMENDATION: Contact IBM WebSphere Commerce Support to obtain APAR JR42568.
