JR42124: SPI FOR STATIC INFORMATION ABOUT SCA MODULES DOES NOT WORK IN ESB ENVIRONMENTS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The meta data SPI can't be loaded in a WESB environment, because
  of an unfulfilled dependency on the repository bundle  in that
  environment.
  The code retrieving process application information from the
  repository should only be loaded in an IBPM environment, while
  the other SCA module related data needs to be available in all
  environments.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When using the ITCAM SPI in a WESB installation, the SPI is not
  available.
  The SPI is not available as the corresponding OSGi bundle, where
  the code is
  located, is not started in a WESB istallation, because of a
  dependency that
  can not be resolved in that environment. With this interim fix
  the dependency
  will be changed in a way so that the OSGi bundle can be started
  and the SPI
  will be available also in that environment.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem fixed
