Problem summary


    

  • USERS AFFECTED:
WebShere Commerce users on V7 or higher that are using social
commerce and want to update their existing fix pack level to a
higher fix pack level.

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
updateEAR fails to update social commerce EAR to the desired
fixpack level

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Customers will not be able to update their existing fix pack to
a higher one.

  • IBM has updated the updateEAR script to not overwrite certain
metadata files if they exist in the social commerce EAR.
