Error description

  • The Registered Customers Report (Go to Accelerator, Home >
    Operational Reports > Registration Reports > Registered
    Customers) does not show data in the ADDRESS column most of the
    time.
    In fact it seems to be missed despite it's mandatory and its
    value is present on the table ADDRESS.
    This fix will allow to see the address field properly.

    The ADDRESS column in the Registered customers report does not
    report the correct data even if the address value is present in
    the database

    Registered Customers report is not properly generated

Problem conclusion

  • The ADDRESS table has two COLUMNS ADDRESS1 and ADDRESS2 which
    stores the address of the registered customer. The report
    concatenates both these columns to display the address in one
    column of the report. When any of ADDRESS1 or ADDRESS2 has null
    values, the concatenation will not work properly and it always
    evaluates to null. Necessary checks are made to see if any of
    ADDRESS1 or ADDRESS2 is null. If the value is null an empty
    string ('') will be used for concatenation.
