    The asynchronous REST calls conducted by the Human Workflow
    Widget use a default timeout of 5000 ms.
    Unfortunately this is not sufficient in many customer setups.
    This Fix will allow to overwrite the default
    timeout using a mashup maker configuration property.

    After applying the Fix one can overwrite the timeout for REST
    calls:

    In order to overwrite the timeout for the Human Workflow Widget,
    open the Administration Console of the server where Business
    Space is installed.
    1) Select Mashups_ConfigService under Resources -> Resource
    Environment -> Resource Environment Providers.
    2) Select Custom Properties. Create a new property
    "com.ibm.bpc.widget.requestTimeout" and set its value to the
    wanted timeout in milliseconds.
    3) Select the com.ibm.mashups.properties.client and add
    ",com.ibm.bpc.widget.requestTimeout" to the value of this
    property (Do not forget the comma which separates the values in
    the list).
    4) The new timeout setting should work in the next user session.
    (I.e. logout and login with Business Space)
