APAR status

Error description

  • Massload can fail with a null message if STORECAT.MASTERCATALOG
has a null value.

A line similar to the following appears in messages.txt :

Local fix

  • Ensure STORECAT.MASTERCATALOG is not null for the catalog being
massloaded.

Problem summary

  • USERS AFFECTED:
All WebSphere Commerce users on V7 who use massload for catalog

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
Massload fails if the MASTERCATALOG flag in the STORECAT
(STORECAT.MASTERCATALOG) table is null.

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Catalog data not loaded correctly.

RECOMMENDATION:

Problem conclusion

  • A check has been added for a null value for the
STORECAT.MASTERCATALOG field in MassLoadProductSetUtills.java
