Error description
If you create sybase wrapper using an upsupported version(like 12.0), the create server statement can run sucessfully. But a Federation Server crash may result when trying to execute future actions.
Local fix
You can alter the version to be the correct value: ALTER SERVER <server_name> VERSION <correct_value>
