Problem summary
. The following Replication Server admin problems have been fixed in DB2 LUW V9.7 FP5. . . JR40957: Admin fails for customer that uses a comma (,) as a decimal point (.) . Problem Description: In some z/OS systems (common in Europe), a comma is treated as a decimal point instead of a (.) This is causing a problem is one of the queries admin issues where there is a (,) in the select statement - "count(*),1". This is resulting in an SQL Error when the sql is executed. . Problem Conclusion: The resolution is to issue the SQL query with a space between the comma and the integer value. "count(*), 1") . . JR40958: CHANGED_COLS_ONLY and CONFLICT_ACTION permutations surface properly in the RC properties . Problem Description: If the CHANGED_COLS_ONLY is 'N', CONFLICT_ACTION = 'I' and CONFLICT_RULE = 'K' then RC is automatically changing the CONFLICT_ACTION to 'F' if the properties of the subscription are opened. . Problem Conclusion: Modified the API code to not modify the conf;lict_action on the fly. . . JR40959: Allow the consolidation scenario between different sources to a CCD target. . Problem Description: Admin does not allow consolidation of multiple tables to the same CCD table and this is a requirement from customers. . Problem Conclusion: The check is lifted and consolidation scenario to a CCD target is allowed. . . JR40960: Problem with promting a subscription member, getting ASN1572E saying bufferpool exceeds the allowed limit of 4005. . Problem Description: If the target table is created in a tablespace with bufferpool greater than 4k, promote member is not able to detect that and get the right bufferpool information. The bufferpool is still read as 4k and this gives an error while promoting as the size of the table is greater than 4k. . Problem Conclusion: Fix the code in admin to get the right bufferpool information. . . JR40961: REPCENTER generates an invalid DDL when registering a view created with "JOIN... ON" clause as replication source . Problem Description: The view registration parser does not work properly if the view as a JOIN ON clause defined. This is resulting in a parser error. . Problem Conclusion: Fixed the parser logic to identify the JOIN ON clause and parse the statement correctly. . . JR40962: Errors occurred when click "Test" button for E-mail address in RC . Problem Description: During create contact under Alert Monitor, the user gets the following error if he clicks on the "Test" button - java.sql.SQLException: SQL22295N Unable to communicate successfully with the SMTP server at host "abc.de.com" using port "6400". Reason code = "2". . Problem Conclusion: Fixed the TestMail program to send the correct userid and host name while sending the email .
