Problem summary


    

  • The following Replication Server admin problem has been
fixed in DB2 LUW V9.5 FP8:
.
834013:REPCENTER generates an invalid DDL when registering
 a view created with "JOIN... ON" clause as replication
 source
.
Problem Description: REPCENTER and ASNCLP cannot handle a
 view created with a "JOIN.. ON" clause.  An invalid DDL
 is generated in the generated script.
  IBM  CLI Driver  DB2/NT  SQL0104N  An unexpected token
 "IDX" was found following ") AS SELECT CAT JOIN".
 Expected tokens may include:  "FROM".  SQLSTATE=42601
.
Problem Conclusion: Modified the view parser logic to
 check if the view is defined with a JOIN clause, and if
 there is, obtain the dependent views information
 correctly.
