APAR status

Error description

• On Solaris Operating Environments the JVM crashes.
  
  The awk utility in the db2profile script does not work correctly
  with very long strings. If the CLASSPATH environment variable
  has a value that exceeds 2560 characters then the resulting
  CLASSPATH variable gets truncated and the JVM crashes.
  

Local fix

• On Solaris Operating Environments edit db2profile and replace
  "awk" with "nawk" - a newer awk compatible utility.
