Error description
A connection attempt may experience long wait (several minutes) due to a problem in DB2 licensing module. This is Windows specific problem and can happen if an user is part of many Windows groups (100+). Local fix
Decrease number of groups where the user attempting the connect belongs to.

USERS AFFECTED: All users running on Windows platform. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A connection attempt may experience long wait (several minutes) if the connecting user is part of many Windows groups (100+). PROBLEM SUMMARY: As above.
Problem conclusion
First fixed in DB2 UDB Version 9, FixPak 8 (s090823).
