Error description

  • The .NET utility testconn20.exe will fail with an SQL1159 rc=7 e
    rror when issued on a 64-bit Windows platform using a 32-bit DB2
     installation.
    .
By default testconn20.exe is built using the /platform:anycpu op
tion which means that it will use the 64-bit CLR on a 64-bit pla
tform. This fails because the .NET data provider is 32-bit and
uses the 32-bit Windows registry. This APAR will ensure that t
estconn20.exe is built using /platform:x86 for 32-bit installati
    ons of DB2.
