IZ92224: DELETING ARTIFACTS IN WSRR RESULTS IN INCORRECT ACTIVITY LOG ENTRY

Subscribe

You can track all active APARs for this component.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you load an artifact in WSRR, separate objects are created
for the object and its document. The activity log records the
creation correctly, but if you delete the WSDL, the document
activity record is incorrectly recorded as an UPDATE.

Local fix

  • Not applicable

Problem summary

  • When you add and then delete a WSDL, two activity records are
created for the create (correctly) but for the delete, one of
them shows DELETE while the document record shows UPDATE
(incorrect). Note that there is no way to view deleted records
in the Websphere Service Registry interface, they only exist
    incorrectly in the database.

This fix resolves the issue so now you should have two DELETE
    records.

Problem conclusion

  • This fix is expected in 7.0.0.4
