Error description

  • When selecting the Toolkit Help/Help Contents option, "Error
    occurred processing file toc.xml" is recorded in the Toolkit
    .log file
    .
    The above error occurs only when trying to open Help contents
    from the Toolkit > Help, even though the Help contents open
    correctly.

    All users of WebSphere Message Broker launching the Information
    Center within the Toolkit.
    
    Platforms Affected:
    Toolkit Platforms (Windows, Linux x86 and Linux x86-64)

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    This error is caused by invalid XML in the Information Center
    plug-in.
    

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit has been modified to correct
    the Information Center plug-in.

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
    
    V6.1 - Maintenance Level 6.1.0.9
    
    The latest available maintenance can be obtained from
