APAR status

Error description

  • Linux 64-bit FR is missing a GSKIT pre-requisite.
    
    The frlx8266 does not include the 32-bit GSKIT pre-requisite
    gsli6243.ctp.  All of the other 64-bit FRs that ITM supports
    do not seem to have this problem as they include both 32-bit
    and 64-bit GSKIT pre-requisites.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Linux 64-bit FR is missing GSKIT prereq.
    
    The frlx8266 file does not include the 32-bit GSKIT

    IBM Tivoli Monitoring supports do not seem to have this problem
    as they include both 32-bit and 64-bit GSKIT pre-requisites.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The packaging files were modified to include the missing 32-bit
    GSKit pre-requisites.
    
    
    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
    packages:
