APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The TEPS begins using 100% CPU.  When this happens, existing
    clients hang, and new clients cannot log in.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The portal server on Windows randomly starts using 100% CPU.
    
    During operation, the portal server starts using 100% of a CPU.
    The issue is not correlated to any client or monitoring server
    event. Recycling the portal server temporarily resolves the
    problem. The problem only occurs on Windows platforms.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a problem in the CORBA communication thread concurrency.
    
    The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance
