APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After the initial load of userids into the TEP user admin
  dialog.
  Tabbing between "users" and "user groups" tabs in the dialog
  causes long
  delays when there are many users. In this case there are over
  200o users
  defined to the TEPs KFWUSER database.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  
  
  Loaded the customers TEPS database which contained over 2000
  users. open
  the user Administration dialog. Once the initial 2000 users are
  loaded
  tabbing between the "Users" and "User groups" tab causes long
  delays
  before the data is loaded making it almost impossible for the
  customer
  to interact with the User adminnistration feature in the tep
  client.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Poor response performance when switching between "Users" and
  "Object Group" tabs in the portal client user administration
  dialog.
  
  When a large number of users are defined in the portal server
  database, switching between the "Users" and "User Groups" can
  take several minutes to load the panels being selected. In this
  particular case there were over 2000 userids defined.
  

Problem conclusion

• Made changes to the User Administration Dialog so all of the
  user IDs are not loaded into the dialog each time a tab is
  selected. The data loaded for each tab is now specific to the
  contents of that panel.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
