APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In the TEMS env. file (KBBENV), set
  KPX_PUREEVT_ONE_ROW=Y by default.
  This will ensure that for the specified pure event tables, 1 row
  of data would correspond to 1 event being created.
  

Local fix

• Set Display Item to a column that will have a unique value.
  

Problem summary

• Enable management server processing of one event per row of pure
  event data for specified tables.
  
  This is a new feature made available in IBM Tivoli Monitoring
  6.2.2 Fix Pack 3.  Now a management server can process certain
  pure event tables in a way that each row of data from the agent
  would be translated to an individual event.
  

Problem conclusion

• This feature is enabled by the presence of a file named KPXATRGP
  on the management server.  This file would contain the name of
  the pure event tables for which the feature must be on.  If this
  file is not present, the feature defaults to being disabled.
  
  The KPXATRGP file should be created in the following
  directories:
  - $CANDLEHOME\CMS (C:\IBM\ITM\CMS) on Windows
  - $CANDLEHOME/tables on Unix/Linux
  - RKANDATV directory on z/OS
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
