IZ67195: SITUATION STATUS NOT RESET AT TEP AFTER AGENT SWITCH

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Environment:
    
      Any platform with an agent to switch between 2 TEMS.
    
    Problem Description:
      A situation that has registered a TRUE condition is not reset
    after the condition turns FALSE if the agent is switched to a
    different TEMS and the condition goes FALSE during the switch.
    Recycling the TEP/TEPS will not fix this condition.
    
    Detailed Recreation Procedure:
      Force a TRUE event for a situation/agent.  Kill the agent and
    reconfigure it to run on another TEMS.  Before re-starting the
    agent, turn the condition to FALSE.  Start the agent. The
    status at the TEP will not reset.
    
    Related Files and Output:
    
    To identify it, there should still be an event in the TEP
    in the Situation Event Console. See screenshots.
    Also, running the soap request to see the situation opened with
    BOTH RTEMS:
