APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This APAR will address the high SYS CPU usage and will make use
of HP's performance enhancement library, when available. This
should reduce the SYS CPU load triggered by DB2 monitor
switches on large and busy databases.

Local fix

  • Turn off some of the monitor switches: DFT_MON_STMT, DFT_MON_UOW
