  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  
  When SuSE Linux is upgraded, the /etc/SuSE-release file can
  contain 2
  VERSION entries.  The old VERSION entry is commented out.
  install.sh gathers the version number(s) from this file from
  both VERSION entries.
  And the installation fails with message.
  The java class is not found:   10  (if the current Suse
  release is 10).
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  
  Logon to a SuSE linux system.  It MUST be SuSE linux.
  Modify the /etc/SuSE-release file and add a commented out
  VERSION
  entry like the following:
  #VERSION=3
  
  Run the ITM installation:
  ./install.sh
  (follow the prompts until you get the error message, or until it
   completes)
  

Local fix

• Remove the commented out VERSION entry from /etc/SuSE-release
  

Problem summary

• On Linux SUSE machines, the install script could not properly
  obtain the version if the file /etc/SuSE-release had commented
  out sections.  This led to a problem in the script and a failure
  during install.
  

Problem conclusion

• Modified the script to handle the differences in the file when
  VERSION lines are commented out.
