Error description

• You may receive the following error when deploying DB2 v9.5 with
  SMS2003 (and later), or installing a V9.5 DB2 product using the
  Local System account as the install user:
  
  ERROR:The username SYSTEM does not conform to the DB2 naming
  rules
  
  This is an exception to the following rule:
  
  User, user ID and group naming rules

  "Names and IDs cannot:
  
  Be USERS, ADMINS, GUESTS, PUBLIC, LOCAL or any SQL reserved word

Local fix

Problem summary

• Users affected: Any install via "LocalSystem" account,
  especially SMS installs with SMS2003 or higher
  
  Problem Description: When installing DB2 V9.5 via "LocalSystem"
  account, an error will occur stating:
  
  ERROR:The username SYSTEM does not conform to the DB2 naming
  rules.
