Error description

  • The LISTSIT command fails when the agent name is greater than
32 characters.  When LISTSIT is run, message KUICLS006Eus
returned and an unusual long string of characters is appended to
the message.

Problem summary


    

  • tacmd listsit showed incorrect managed system name in error
message when the given name has greater than 31 characters.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The listsit code was modified to handle this. A new error
message is added for cases  where the user specifies an
incorrect managed system name having length more than 32
characters.

The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance
vehicle:
