Error description

  • Severity: 3
    Approver:BS
    Compid: 5724C04EP Tivoli Enterprise Portal
Abstract:Scaled attribute using ENUM in ODI causes Situation to
    not wrk

    Environment:
Include components involved, platforms with versions/patches
    for each.
Do you think the latest patch applied is involved?
    Problem Description:
When using a scaled attribute with ENUM parm in ODI it does
not work correctly for both situations being triggerred or data
being correctly displayed in the TEP. In the customers case
they are working with an MQ agent. The customer has a
situation where they are testing against the attribute "Time to
    Zero
Msgs (Secs)" in the "Queue Statistics" attribute group. This
    attribute
group provides 4 inputs that can be tested against and the
    customer is
selecting "Zero Put Get Rates". The TEP workspace is correctly
displaying this value for some queues but it is failing to fire
    the
situation when this occurs. I did some testing on my box at
    6.1.0.5,
6.1.0.6 and 6.2.0 and was able to re-create the problem. Going
    a step
further, I also found that from the TEP view I could not filter
    on these
attributes correctly either. If I set the filter to display all
    queues
that have "Time to Zero Msgs (Secs)" equal to "Zero Put Get
    Rates" then
there would be zero displayed even though they existed. If I
    reversed
the test to be not equal to then all queues displayed.
    Detailed Recreation Procedure:
Write an MQ situation against "Queue Statistics" attribute group
which test on the attribute "Time to Zero Msgs (Secs)". Set
the attribute to be equal to "Zero_Put_Get_Rates" which mean msg
put and msg get is both equal to zero. When this test is true
you will find that the situation will not fire.
