  • This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
Explorer v5.4.0.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • - A number of user-visible messages have been updated to meet
IBM style guidelines.
- Support has been made available for exporting event
specifications from Policy rules that emit events, to be
included by a COBOL program or software processing the event.
- Changes have been made to the Policy Definition editor to
support defining Policy system rules for CICS TS 5.1, 5.2, and
5.3 once CICS APAR PI83667 is applied.
- The display of long tooltips in the policy editor description
has been improved.
- Incorrect log messages when adding bundle parts to a bundle
have been removed.
- Users are prevented from entering a new line in a policy
editor description.
- The order of menu items in the disable section of the JVM
Server context menu has been changed to reflect the order that
they should be used in.
- Fixes have been made to the Transaction Definition Editor to
support VSE.
- Updates to the field level help have been made from QTYPE
PI83584
.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.3 of the CICS
Explorer.
