APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Manufacturer attribute was dropping due the vendor name was
coming unknown for FCswitch.
As per investigation vendor id for the switch was evaluated
correctly but the mapping of vendor id to vendor name was not
present in vendors.properties file. That is why the vendor name
was not being populated.

Local fix

  • Added the missing entry for corresponding vendor id and
vendor name in vendor.properties file.

Problem summary

  • Manufacturer attribute was dropped because the vendor name was
coming unknown for FCswitch. This was happening because vendor
id for the switch was evaluated correctly but the mapping of
vendor id to vendor name was not present in vendors.properties
file. That is why the vendor name was not being populated.
Added the missing entry for corresponding vendor id and vendor
name in vendor.properties file.
