Error description

  • Following an upgrade to 6.3 FP7, users in the "OPERATOR" group
    are no longer able to login correctly, they receive an empty
    console.
    
    This is rectified by adding the permission -
    ""UserAdministration:
    View" to the account, then they can login successfully.
    
    This, however, seems to have been previously identified as
    unwanted behaviour as per PMR 48161,211,788 and an APAR was
    raised - IV77992. This APAR was included in FP7 but we still
    have customers encountering this behaviour.
    

Local fix

  • This is rectified by adding the permission -
    "UserAdministration:
    View" to the account, then they can login successfully.

    in a new release.
