Error description

  • In the Problems application, when
    linking a Change record that has been closed it is necessary to
    go to the Changes application and select Return with value in
    order to have the values for Class, Description and Status
    filled in.
    
    This is different behaviour from that when linking a Change
    that is not Closed where the field values are filled in
    automatically when the user tabs out of the WONUM field in the
    Related Records/Related Work Orders section

Local fix

  • In the Problems application, when linking a Change record that
    has been closed it is necessary to go to the Changes

Problem conclusion

  • This is fixed in code and a system property
    mxe.app.workorder.allowHistoryWO.  The system property is
    defaulted 0 out-of-box.  User can change it to 1. When the value
    is 1, all the information is populated when user manually enters
    a history work order to the WO Num field under the Related
    Records tab.
    
    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
