IV95343: AGTIME RESULTS IN TWO LAT_WRITETIME COLUMNS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• For any table that has the AGTIME set to a different column than
  WRITETIME, then the aggregated table statements contains 2 times
  the column LAT_WRITETIME.
  
  If an Agent's ODI file contains a table definition that is
  similar to the following example,
  
  ATTR:         Sample Date and Time
  *CAPT:         Sample Date and Time
  *COLUMN:       SDATE_TIME
  *NLSID:        KYN1906
  *DSPORDER:     0030
  *TYPE:         T
  *OPTION:       TIMEZONE=AGENT
  *AGTIM:        Y
  
  then the generated Aggregration tables (_H, _W, _D, _W, _M, _Q,
  _Y) will contain two (2) LAT_WRITETIME columns.
  

Local fix

• Alter the Table to remove the extraneous LAT_WRITETIME column.
  

Problem summary

• Multiple LAT_WRITETIME columns may exist in a table due to the
  agent's ODI table definition for AGTIME.
  
  
  For any table that has the AGTIME set to a different column than
  WRITETIME, then the aggregated table statements contains 2 times
  the column LAT_WRITETIME.
  
  If an Agent's ODI file contains a table definition that is
  similar to the following example,
  
  ATTR:          Sample Date and Time
  *CAPT:         Sample Date and Time
  *COLUMN:       SDATE_TIME
  *NLSID:        KYN1906
  *DSPORDER:     0030
  *TYPE:         T
  *OPTION:       TIMEZONE=AGENT
  *AGTIM:        Y

Problem conclusion

• Change processing such that when the AGTIM option is specified
  in the ODI file, duplicate LAT_WRITETIME columns are not
  generated.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:

Temporary fix

• Alter the Table to remove the extraneous LAT_WRITETIME column.
