Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    If you have a combination of "Order By" on your where clause
    and an apprestriction on the application, you are not able to
    run an Ad Hoc report.
    You face the following error:
    There was an exception on the server. Check your report
    parameter values, or contact your system administrator, who can
    find additional details in the server log.
    ENVIRONMENT:
    IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5.3
    Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.0.5
    OS: Windows 6.3
    DB: Oracle 11.2
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Maximo 7605
    Go To application Desgin application and pick the WOTRACK
    application. Add any apprestriction to this application and
    save it.
    Go to WOTRACK application and click on "Advanced Search" ->
    "Where
    Clause". On the end of this, add ORDER BY WONUM.
    Try to run an ad hoc report with "Apply Application Query"
    marked.
    You will face an error.
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    There was an exception on the server. Check your report
    parameter
    values, or contact your system administrator, who can find
    additional
    details in the server log.
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The report should run with no errors
