IV93159: ASSET TEMPLATE APPLICATION SKIPPING NUMBERS WITH EACH SUCCESSIVE ASSET GENERATION PROCESS

Error description

• Asset Template Application skipping numbers with each
  successive Asset generation process
  ERRONEOUS RESULT: The AUTOKEY is skipping the sequence.
  If you create 5 assets, the AUTOKEY skips 5 numbers when the
  the next creation of assets using asst template
  
  Reproduced reported issue
  
  STEPS TO REPLICATE:
  
  .GO TO >> SYSTEM CONFIGURARION >> PLATFORM CONFIGURATION >>
  DATABASE
  CONFIGURATION
  .Bring up Asset object
  .Click on Attributes tab
  .Bring up ASSETNUM attribute
  .Enter &AUTOKEY& as Default Value
  
  Enable the Admin mode and Apply the changes
  
  .GO TO >> ASSET >> ASSET TEMPLATE
  .Create a new record
      ASSET TEMPLATE: 1234
      ASSET DESCRIPTION: PMR TEST
  .Save
  .Active the asset template
  .SELECT ACTION >> GENERATE NEW ASSET
  .Enter MCLEAN in site field
  .Click ok
  .Enter 5 in Quantity field
  .Click Generate Assets button
  .Remember the last asset number
  .Click ok
  .Enter BEDFORD in site field
  .Click ok
  .Enter 5 in Quantity field
  .Click Generate Assets button
  
  ERRONEOUS RESULT: The AUTOKEY is skipping the sequence. If you
  create 5 assets, the AUTOKEY skips 5 numbers when you will
  create assets again.
  For example:
  1st Run- 100 Assets Created, Asset Numbers created are from 1 to
  100
  2nd Run 100 Asset Created, Asset numbers created from 201 to 300
  It skips the numbers from 101 to 200
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT: Generate the assets in Asset Template
  application  without skipping the sequence
