Error description

  • INV Usage records Orpahned when changing Scheduled date on
Assignment before Target Start Date on the Work Order

Reproduced in 7603 base, 7603 with latest IFIX, 7606 with
    latest IFIX

    Steps to Reproduce:
    A)UPDATE maxvars SET varvalue = '1'
    WHERE varname = 'UPDATEWPMATREQDATE';
    Restart Application Server

    1)Administrations>Organization>select EAGLENA
    2)More Actions > select Inventory Options>Inventory Defaults
3)check "Automatically create usage documents for new
    reservations"
    4)click ok
    5)More Actions >Workorder Options>Edit Rules Workorder
Status>APPR> select WPMaterial (make sure checked)
    6)click ok
    7)Workorders > Workorder Tracking
    8)create new workorder > Workorder #TestWO12> Scheduling
Information>Target Start and Target Finish =01/28/2017 (future
    date)
9)Plans tab> Task for Workorder section click new row, Task 10
    10)Scheduling Information section
11)Target Start > will inherit target Start and Target finish
dates from workorder main tab target start and finish dates
12)Materials tab > click new row
    13)Task=10(created in Step
    7),Storeroom=Central,Item=Gloves,Qty=1
    14)click new row
    15)Task=10(created in step
    7),Storeroom=Central,Item=IKLEEN,Qty=1
    16)Save record
    17)Assignments tab> click new row
    18)Task = 10(created step 7)
    19)Save, Change status = APPR
    20)Inventory> Inventory Usage
21)enter Workorder num TestWO12 in description field (created
    in step
    8)
22)click on the Usage document returned in search
Note:note your usage document #, and that usage document
    contains 2
usage lines from the workorder materials tab
    23)More Actions> select Add/Modify Reservations> enter
    workorder#
    TestWO12
24)see that both material items for the workorder are returned
    with the
reservation id - this is correct
    25)Workorder Tracking> select Workorder # TestWO12(created in
    step 8)
    26)Assignments tab> Labor= Wilson, Scheduled Start= enter
current date (any date earlier than the orig future date
    selected)
    27)save
    28)Inventory Usage> enter workorder num TestWO12(created in
    step6)
29)note the Orig Usage document has now been deleted not retuned
in search a new usage document has been created.
30)open the new usage document -you will now see that the usage
document is for only one of the materials items. (not correct
    this should contain both items)
    31)More Actions> select Add/Modify Reservations> enter workorder
     # TestWO12
32)see that both material items for the workorder are returned,
so 1st item from workorder is still left on the orig
Reservation request but is not on any usage document. This is
not correct when you assign the labor on the Workorder on the
assignments tab with a current date it
should not be deleting the usage document and creating a new one
for only 1 of the workorder material items.

The problem only occurs when there are mulitple material lines
    items on the workorder plans/materials.

example if you have 3 plans/material line items example
    1)item =Gloves
    2)item =584-L0
3)item =IKLEEN when the initial inventory usage document is
created at line 19 when the workorder is approved
all 3 line items will be in the inventory usage document.
But when assign the Labor and change the schdule date on the
assignment record - to a current early date than the orig
scheduled date - line item 1) Gloves, and line item 2) 584-L0
will be dropped and left associated to the orig inventory usage
document and line item 3)IKLEEN will be added to the new
Inventory Usage document that gets created. This is not correct
there should not be a new Inventory Usage Document being
created, and mulitple lines should not be getting dropped and
    left orphaned

NOTE: If you have only one Plans/Material line item - eveything
works as it should - you will get the Inventory Usage doc
created at the time you approved the Workorder with the future
shcedule date. and then when Assign the labor and change the
schedule date to a date earlier than the orig date - the Orig
Inventory Usage doc remains-with the line item which is correct
you should not see a new Inventory Usage document when you are
changing a schedule date to a date that earlier than the orig
    date.
