Error description
In CICS IA plug-in, when the customer right-clicks on a program and selects Threadsafe Report and then specific region, it comes up with a list of candidate regions where that program runs. If the region name selected contains a # (hash) symbol then a message appears : X the region name must be alphanumeric or a single wild card.
Local fix
Problem summary
The CICS IA plug-in produces an error message when attempting to select a threadsafe report for a CICS region which includes the hash (#) symbol in its APPLID.
Problem conclusion
The CICS IA plug-in has been updated to accept a hash symbol as part of the CICS APPLID. This fix will be made available in Version 5.3.0.3 of the CICS IA Plug-in.
