Error description
Steps to replicate the issue in Maxdemo database, BEDFORD Site: 1) Go to Item Master application 2) Create new with both Order and Issue Units = EACH and save 3) Change Item Status to ACTIVE, selecting the option "Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory?" 4) Select Action > Add Items to Storeroom 5) From Add Items to Storeroom dialog, enter the following info and click OK: CENTRAL Storeroom Issue Cost Type = FIFO 6) Go to Inventory application 7) Bring up the Item above 8) In Inventory Balances section, just click New Row button and save record, without entering Current Balance or Bin. 9) Select Action > Inventory Adjustments > Current Balance 10) In Current Balance Adjustment dialog, enter New Balance = 10 and click OK 11) In Specify Inventory Costs dialog, enter Unit Cost = 25.00 and click OK 12) Select Action > Inventory Adjustments > Current Balance again 13) In Current Balance Adjustment dialog, enter New Balance = 15 and click OK 14) In Specify Inventory Costs dialog, enter Unit Cost = 15.00 and click OK 15) Go to Work Order Tracking application 16) Create and approve new WO against any valid GL Account 17) Go to Actuals tab > Materials sub-tab > New Row button 18) Enter the following info: Item = the Item above Storeroom = CENTRAL Quantity = 15.00 19) Save As result, system splits it into two material transactions (one at each cost) with a line cost of 75.00 and 250.00. And that's correct. 20) Select Action > View Costs The issue is: View Costs shows wrong Material Total Cost. In this example, Material Total Cost should be 325.00 (which is 75.00 + 250.00) but: 1) Maximo 7.5.0.4 shows Material Total Cost as 75.00 2) Maximo 7.5.0.10 shows Material Total Cost as 325.05
